My family provides lots of inspiration. How else could I write a nose book about sneezing? My children inspired the idea and my husband... well, my husband sometimes sneezes so hard the door blows open! (Just kidding.)

Why am I WRITERDOC? Because I'm a writer and a doctor. A psychiatrist to be exact. I work at Penn State/Hershey Medical Center in the Eating Disorders Clinic. In treatment, I encourage patients to journal. Writing can lead to new ways of looking at yourself and the world. Check out my inspiration tips. 

What do I do in my spare time? There's not much of it....but....

I joust dragons, swim in moats, scale castle walls!

Not really, but I love dragons, joust blank pages, swim in creativity, and do rock climb!

And my kids--they have great spirit, love of legend, and inspire me every day.
